In the 12th stage of the Giro d’Italia 2025, the sprinters are getting ready for an exciting showdown as they tackle the 172 km route from Modena to Viadana (Oglio-Po). This stage, moving from Emilia to Lombardy, offers a relatively flat course with no major challenges, setting the scene for a thrilling bunch sprint finish that the fast riders have been eagerly anticipating.
The latter part of the route, covering the final 70 km, is predominantly flat, while the initial 100 km includes some rolling terrain as it passes the Matildic Castles in the Modenese region. Early on, riders will face two categorized climbs, Baiso and Borsea, adding some spice to the stage. As the route approaches Quattro Castella, 70 km from the finish, the terrain levels out, setting the stage for the sprinters to showcase their speed.

However, he will face fierce competition from sprinters such as Mads Pedersen, Kaden Groves, and Casper Van Uden. Additionally, riders like Sam Bennett, Matteo Moschetti, Milan Fretin, and Paul Magnier will also be looking to challenge for the stage win.
